Welcome to the Institute of Physiology University of Maribor
Founded in 2005 as part of the Faculty of Medicine University of Maribor, members of our institute have since tackled many open questions in the field of physiology, especially regarding those about pancreatic beta cells. We are also heavily involved in the teaching of physiology to undergraduate and graduate students of medicine and soon also to students of stomatology.
We also collaborate with other faculties and institutes from around the world and are always open to new joint adventures. If you have any questions feel free to contact us and we will be happy to respond.
