From the 29th of September to the 2nd of October some of our team members participated in the 100th meeting of the German Physiological Society held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This was the first in-person event we participated in since the start of the Covid19 pandemic. As part of the meeting, we presented our research in the form of poster presentations.
We presented our research in the categories of Ligand-gated ion channels and receptors and Hormones.
Ligand-gated ion channels:
NMDA receptor inhibition fosters the collective pancreatic beta-cell activity. Book of abstracts page 393
Using multilayer network analysis to unveil the nature of intercellular signals in the pancreatic islets of Langerhans. Book of abstracts page 271
The impact of cAMP and the role of Epac2A on the collective activity of pancreatic beta cell networks. Book of abstracts page 267
We also listened to many interesting Plenary Lectures about which you can read more in the book of abstracts.
We are grateful to the organizers of the event and are looking forward to many more!
